Home Groups
Home Groups are starting up! If you are new to the church or interested in becoming more connected to the Cornerstone community, there is a sign up table in the Fellowship Hall after the service with someone to answer your questions.

Women’s Bible Studies
Wednesday mornings beginning September 12th at 9:00 am
Ephesians or Philippians, child care and books provided and Homeschool Art Class for 1st – 6th grades. Sign up here. Register by September 4th to receive a book!

Wednesday evenings beginning September 19th, book of John.
No sign-up required. No preparation; come as your schedule allows. Pick up a flyer for information on both classes located on the Information Desk.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
Beginning September 19th with a registration night.
Please help us advertise by taking one or more brochures with you today and giving them to someone in your life who is learning English, or ask permission to post or leave them in public places in PA, MD, & DE such as international groceries, libraries, etc. Please pray for our advertising, outreach, teacher preparation, and for students to come! We welcome new volunteers, contact Kate Riera with questions.

Prison Outreach of Delaware
October 5th – 6:30pm appetizers, 7:00pm Dinner
FREE but reservations are required; call 302-998-5502 or online to reserve your spot. Children are welcome but no childcare available. Deadline to reserve is September 30! FMI contact Bruce Boone or Mark Whiteman

Men’s Retreat
Oct. 12th – 14th Men’s Retreat at Refreshing Mountain
We now have a bulletin board and sign up sheet. Check it out! There is an early bird discount of $150 if you register by Sept. 2nd. After Sept. 2nd, the cost will be $160. There is a 2 zip line course included with our package, but if you are interested in the optional 5 Zip Line and High Ropes Challenge, there is an advanced planner discount of $44.25/person (a $15 discount) if you email the office by August 10th.

Family Promise Training
Sunday Oct. 21 in room 201 immediately following Church
Family Promise, a ministry to homeless families in Southern Chester county, will be offering a training for new volunteers right after church on Oct. 21 in room 201. If you have never been to a training or wonder how you can make a difference, you are highly encouraged to attend. You will meet Family Promise’s Executive Director and learn how Cornerstone fits into a broader effort that has resulted in 28 families moving out of homelessness in the past 2 years. Volunteers are needed to prepare food, serve the guests, clean up, and stay overnight. Lunch will be provided with a suggested donation of $5. Please RSVP to the church office.
