Cornerstone Becomes a Partners in Care Congregation!
The Cornerstone deacons have agreed to have our church become a "Partners in Care" congregation. In addition, volunteers from the church congregation may offer help to military families: If you are able and willing to volunteer to help in Cornerstone's Partners in Care, simply contact John Stapleford for services you may offer. Please give prayerful thought to this wonderful opportunity to show our military that they are not out of sight and out of mind. See details in insert in this bulletin or on the Community Bulletin Board in the lobby.

Our church began in the early nineties with less than fifty people seeking to find a new place of worship not only
closer to home but a place where those who haven’t found a Bible-centered church could find Jesus Christ. The doors were open to all especially to those who haven’tcome to know Jesus as their Savior. Many of the original members of the church are still active today. Some are serving as elders or deacons while others are involved with missions and the worship team. The founding families, including our Pastor Mark Van Gilst, wanted to build a church founded on a community of believers strongly directed by the Bible’s language of love.

Worship is at the heart of all we do at Cornerstone.  From the beginning we have continued to see our church as a place that brings people together who seek to know Jesus.   We study the scriptures first and foremost through the biblical centered sermons of our Pastors.   At each Worship Service the congregation is encouraged to share their individual prayer requests.  When all have been shared Pastor Dave leads the congregation in a prayer that addresses each request.  We have often heard praise in the following weeks for the answer to many of these prayers as God has chosen to answer them. We see these prayers as a cornerstone to our worship service because they faithfully bring us together as a congregation that cares deeply for one another.
