Mission Committee Purpose Statement

The Missions Committee of Cornerstone exists to glorify God by sending the gospel of Jesus Christ to the peoples of the world, by the power of the Holy Spirit

A core tenet of Cornerstone’s mission is “to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ” who love God and love others.  As a church, we are committed to sending and equipping those that have been called to spread the Gospel and educating our congregation about how God is moving throughout the world, presenting the needs of the global church, and challenging the people of Cornerstone to respond through giving, learning, and praying.

Take some time to learn more about the work of the Cornerstone Missions Committee by looking around our web page and feel free to contact us should you have any questions by calling or e-mailing the Church office.

Missionary of the Month

Each month the Missions Committee designates one of the missionaries we support as the “Missionary of the Month.”  The Committee uses that month to promote the ministry of that ministry and bring the needs of that missionary to the congregation, so that they may be held up in prayer individually and corporately.  At times, missionaries even visit with our church congregation during that month!

This month’s Missionary of the Month is: Mike & Robin McMahan

Our Missionaries

Cornerstone currently supports 12 missionaries worldwide.  We encourage our congregation to become active in supporting our missionaries through prayer and learning more about their work.  If the contact information of a missionary is listed we encourage you to contact them directly.  Cornerstone supports missionaries in sensitive areas of service.  For these missionaries, we encourage you to contact them through the missions committee.  The Missions Committee will continue to introduce the church of our missionaries by introducing them through our Missionary of the Month program.
