ESL - English as a Second Language

Please invite those you think might benefit from the ESL class starting this Wednesday, January 9th! It is helpful to offer to come with them the first night. Remember that it could be very intimidating to come to an unknown church by yourself! ESL classes will follow the same Wednesday night schedule as the Boys Brigade and Pioneer Girls from 6:30- 8:00pm.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers
, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries. The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire - to be the best mothers they can be.

MOPS at Cornerstone meets twice a month. While the children are loved & nurtured in their MOPPETS classrooms, mothers have a chance to take a break and spend time with other mothers.  Each week we hear a speaker relevant to the themes of mothering young children and participate in a creative activity.

MOPS is about....

Celebrating motherhood
Meeting needs
Making connections
Experiencing God’s love…    through relationships and  resources

For moms with children ages newborn – kindergarten

We meet twice a month
on the
1st and 3rd Fridays from 9am – 10:50am
e-mail Laura about visiting, registering or volunteering.
